Brighton Garden Club will meet Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Brighton Community Center, located at 555 Brighton Street. This month’s featured presenter is Diane Pruden of Monarch Watch Organization, a nonprofit education, conservation and research program based at the University of Kansas. She’ll be speaking about challenges monarch butterflies face in their spectacular fall migration. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and Pruden will speak at noon. Guests are welcome.
