Join Brighton Garden Club on Thursday, October 11, when the featured speaker is Ann Tice. Her presentation is titled “Flower Bulb ‘Pearls.’”
Learn about some of the best spring bulbs (including critter-resistant ones) along with planting and design ideas. Explore some of the lesser-known but great smaller bulbs and enjoy photos of the amazing displays at Keukenhof Garden in the Netherlands — one of the largest bulb displays in the world. Get excited about FALL planting for beauty next spring!
Ann Tice is an Advanced Master Gardener in Illinois and Michigan. She has run the annuals trial program for 18 years for the University of Illinois Master Gardeners, where gardeners test about 2000 annual plants from the Proven Winner Company. Her garden has won a place in the Chicago Tribune Glorious Garden Contest twice as well as the Scott’s/ Walmart national garden contest. Her garden has also been featured in several garden magazines and garden walks in Illinois.
Brighton Garden Club meets at 10:30 a.m. the second Thursday of every month from September through June.
