Join Brighton Garden Club on Thursday, April 12 when the featured speaker is Dow Gardens entomologist Elly Maxwell. She will be talking about the beneficial insects in your garden.
Although some insects are pests, Maxwell says an even greater number are helpful. She’ll cover predators to parasitoids to pollinators in her presentation “Harnessing Mother Nature’s Workforce — Beneficial Insects.”
Brighton Garden Club meets the second Tuesday of every month September through May at 10:30 a.m. at the Brighton Community Center, located at 555 Brighton Street.
